KAMIAH, ID – The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies arrested a Kamiah man following a domestic dispute late Sunday evening.
According to the release, dispatchers received a 911 call at approximately 10:43 p.m. on September 22 regarding a disturbance in the Kamiah area. Deputies responded and spoke with both parties on scene. Authorities said the female party had visible injuries, and it was determined that a domestic battery had occurred.
Kevin Kelly, 34, of Kamiah, was taken into custody on a felony charge of domestic battery in the presence of a child.
The sheriff’s office emphasized its commitment to emergency response and protecting families from domestic violence. Officials noted that the charges are allegations at the time of arrest, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
