Two Dead, One Critically Injured in Spokane Shooting

SPOKANE, WA — Two men are dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting on Spokane’s South Hill Wednesday night.

Spokane Police say officers responded around 8:45 p.m. on September 24 to the 4200 block of East 34th Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found two adult men deceased and a third with life-threatening gunshot wounds. The injured man was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators believe all parties were known to one another, though their exact relationships remain under investigation. Police do not believe anyone else was involved and say there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The Major Crimes Unit is processing the scene. Authorities are asking anyone with information or video footage related to the incident to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
