PULLMAN, WA – The Port of Whitman County is continuing to help fund the restoration of the Pullman Depot Heritage Center.
The port has agreed to allocated 35,000 dollars to help pay for restoration of the historic rail cars at the museum. The total cost of the project is expected to be 225,000 dollars.
The local government previously earmarked 50,000 dollars to help pay for restoration of the depot building. The agreement is with the Whitman County Historical Society which owns and operates the Pullman Depot Heritage Center.
