LEWISTON, ID – October is packed with Halloween-themed events across the Lewis-Clark Valley and neighboring communities. From fall festivals and pumpkin patches to trunk-or-treats, haunted happenings, and costume contests, there are activities for all ages throughout the month.

LEWISTON
3rd Annual Hometown T1D Fall Festival
Date: Saturday & Sunday, October 4–5, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (both days)
Location: Nez Perce County Fairgrounds, 1314 Airway Ave, Lewiston, ID
Details: Hosted by Hometown T1D, this family festival includes a pumpkin patch, tractor hayrides, petting zoo, yard games, face painting, food trucks, vendors, live music, and more. Admission is $5 (kids 2 and under free).
L-C Valley Pumpkin Patch
Date: Daily, October 5–31, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: 2200 8th Ave., Lewiston, ID
Details: Hosted by L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity, this pumpkin patch features over 4,000 pumpkins, gourds, games, and photo opportunities for families. Proceeds benefit affordable housing projects in Nez Perce and Asotin counties.
Witches Can Float
Date: Sundays in October, starting October 5, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Swallows Nest Park, Lewiston, ID
Details: A festive river float event for witches, warlocks, and friends! Bring any non-motorized floatation device (kayak, raft, paddleboard, tube, even a rubber duckie) and paddle from Swallows Nest to the confluence by the Blue Bridge. Life vests and whistles required. Fun and recreational—costumes encouraged!
Puck or Treat at LC Ice Arena

Details: Family-friendly Halloween event on the ice with skating, candy, and fun activities. Costumes encouraged.
Bill Holman Memorial Halloween Pickleball Bash
Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
Location: Sunset Park, Lewiston, ID
Details: A costume-required pickleball tournament organized by the LCV Pickleball Club. Doubles round robin with prizes for best costumes. Entry fees support the club.
Harvest Craft Fair at Salvation Army
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025

Details: Fall craft fair with local vendors, seasonal goods, and family-friendly shopping.
Hells Gate Haunted Campground Trunk or Treat
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
Time Slots: 4:00–5:15 PM, 5:45–7:00 PM, 7:30–8:45 PM
Location: Hells Gate State Park, Lewiston, ID
Details: Trick-or-treat through decorated camping loops. Tickets sold in advance at the Discovery Center. $7 with Idaho parks pass, $14 without.

Pumpkin Patch Pop-Up

Location: Patt’s Garden Center, 1280 Port Dr, Clarkston, WA
Details: A free, family-friendly fall shopping event featuring pumpkins, gourds, and squash from Taylor Dennler Gardens, plus seasonal vendors. Enjoy Rae’s Reads Mobile Bookstore, jewelry from Linked by Kenz, The Brookery’s Cake Bar, Cafe LaTay’s beverages, Beth Ellen Wood Ceramics, and more. Admission is free; vendors on-site 10 AM–3 PM.
TriState Health Run For The Health Of It

Brewlesque: A Ghoulishly Sensual Burlesque Show

Details: Riverport Brews transforms into a haunted haven with glitter, tease, and spine-tingling performances from the Ostara Performance Collective. Expect wickedly witty acts, enchanting costumes, and a spooky blend of seduction, sass, and fun. Costumes are encouraged. Local craft brews will be on tap all night.

Children’s Halloween Carnival and Haunted Maze

Location: Clarkston Heights Grange Hall, Clarkston, WA
Details: Family-friendly Halloween event with games, treats, a photo booth, and an age-appropriate haunted maze. Warm costumes encouraged. Tickets are 25 cents each or 6 for $1.00.
7th Annual Chief Tim ‘R Treat
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
Time: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Chief Timothy Park Campground, 13766 Highway 12, Clarkston, WA
Details: A spooktacular night of trick-or-treating, food, drinks, face painting, and decorated campsites at the Chief Timothy Park Campground. The Halloween Show

Details: A staged reading of horror and Halloween classics from authors including Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allan Poe, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Shakespeare. Free admission. Not recommended for children under 12. Presented by BuzzLab.
MOSCOW
Moscow Downtown Trick-or-Treat
Date: Friday, October 31, 2025
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (setup at 2:30 PM; takedown at 5:30 PM)
Location: Downtown Moscow, Main Street (closed from Zion’s Bank to 6th Street)
Details: Businesses and community groups hand out candy in a safe, closed-street environment. Open to all families—costumes encouraged. Chamber members not located downtown can participate by setting up tables or tents. Registration closes October 23. More info: Moscow Chamber registration link
Halloween Costume Party

The Skies of Samhain

Trick or Treat Rockin’ the Street – Orofino

Details: A free community event where local businesses and organizations come together to hand out candy along Johnson Avenue. Families are invited to enjoy safe trick-or-treating, costumes, and plenty of Halloween fun in the heart of downtown Orofino.

Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest 2025

Details: Celebrate fall at this family-friendly pumpkin hunt with hayrides, straw bale maze, giant slingshot, Farm Train rides, and corn hole. Fresh apple cider, pumpkin bars, and golden gourds are back this year. Admission is $15 for ages 2–59, $8 for seniors, and $6 per pumpkin. Discount passes available.
