LEWISTON, ID – P.E.O. Chapter AR of Lewiston has awarded a $25,000 Educational Loan Fund (ELF) loan to University of Idaho law student Kristin Million, supporting her pursuit of a Juris Doctorate degree.
Million, a third-year law student, ranks in the top 15 percent of her class of nearly 200 students across the university’s Idaho campuses. Alongside her studies, she works as a research and teaching assistant for two professors and runs a small inventory management business. After graduation in spring 2026, she plans to continue her position with a Lewiston law office.
“As a proud member of an international organization supporting women’s education, I’m very pleased to announce this award for Kristin Million toward her goal,” said Chapter AR Chairperson Martha Pierce. “Kristin has worked very hard toward this goal, and P.E.O. Chapter AR recognizes this.”
The ELF program, founded in 1907, offers loans at a 2 percent interest rate to women pursuing associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Repayment begins only after graduation. Candidates must be recommended by a local P.E.O. chapter.
Chapter AR, organized in Lewiston in 1938, is part of the international P.E.O. sisterhood, which promotes women’s advancement through education.
