LEWISTON, ID – Caelyn Orlandi and LC State Women’s Basketball announced the signing of the second recruit for the 2026-27 season in Kendrick High School’s Hali Anderson. The Culdesac, Idaho, native, joins Kiana Skogstad as part of the signing class for next season.

“Hali is the ultimate example of a Warrior basketball player,” Orlandi said. “She is dedicated to the game, excels in the classroom and is a phenomenal person. Coach Cali and I have followed Hali for many years, and we are both very excited to see her in a Warrior uniform next season. She can play passing lanes on defense, is very athletic, has a beautiful shot, and does a great job of moving without the basketball. She will represent Warrior basketball extremely well.”

Anderson has been a standout student and student-athlete at Kendrick High School over the years with accolades in various sports and academic arenas. As a junior on the basketball court in 2024-25, she averaged 17.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. She has earned All-State and All-Whitepine League honors in her career and helped the Tigers to basketball and volleyball district titles. She also helped the softball team to runner-up finishes at State twice and led the basketball team to a State title in 2024. Anderson was voted first-team all-league in volleyball and softball as well.

“I chose LC State because as a young girl, I always looked up to the players here,” Anderson said. “I attended several camps and knew from a very young age that I wanted to call LC State home. The program’s history and tradition of success immediately stood out. Beyond the court, the school’s strong academic reputation and tight-knit community appealed to my desire to attend. The opportunity to develop both as an athlete and a student made LC State the perfect fit for my aspirations.”

Outside of athletics, Anderson was voted the Kendrick High School ASB President in 2025 as well as a Distinguished Young Woman for the Kendrick-Juliaetta area. Anderson is a member of the honor roll.
