CORVALLIS, OR – Andrea Artusini made his collegiate debut one to remember last week to catapult him to the first Cascade Conference McDonald’s Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, honor of his career. He is the second LC State Men’s Golf student-athlete to earn CCC Golfer of the Week this season.

Artusini exploded onto the collegiate golf scene at the Beartooth Invitational last week. The freshman tied for first but lost in the playoff in the first tournament of his collegiate career with impressive rounds of 67-71-69 for a 9-under, 207. The three rounds included 13 birdies and an eagle to lead No. 19 LC State to a second-place team finish.

This is the first weekly honor of Artusini’s career.
