Free Alcohol Server Training Offered by Idaho State Police in Ketchum

KETCHUM, ID — The Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) division will host a free alcohol beverage seller and server training on Tuesday, October 14, at Whiskey’s on Main, located at 251 N. Main St. in Ketchum. The session begins at 10 a.m. and will last approximately two hours.

The training is open to licensees, managers, and employees who work in grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, breweries, wineries, bars, golf courses, and resorts.

Topics will include on- and off-premises service, prevention of over-service, laws regarding alcohol and minors, identifying false identifications, compliance check operations, prohibited acts such as gambling, and current Idaho laws related to alcohol service.

Participants are asked to pre-register with their personal email using the registration link provided by the Idaho State Police. Upon completion, attendees will receive a certificate via email.
