PULLMAN, WA – Residents of a Pullman apartment complex remain displaced following a structure fire that occurred Sunday night at 155 NW Larry Street.
According to the City of Pullman, residents are not permitted to return home at this time as the fire and crime scenes are still being processed. The city has not yet provided a timeline for when tenants may be allowed back into their units.
The American Red Cross has set up a temporary shelter at the Pullman Senior Center, located at 190 SE Crestview, Building B, to assist those affected. Displaced residents can access the shelter through either the Senior Center or the Pullman Recreation Center entrances.
City officials said the shelter will remain available “for as long as it’s needed” while crews continue to investigate the scene and ensure safety. Additional updates will be provided by the city as more information becomes available.
