LEWISTON, ID – CVS Pharmacy has officially opened its doors in Lewiston, taking over the former Rite Aid location as part of the company’s nationwide acquisition of select Rite Aid stores. The transition reportedly brings expanded services, a broader product selection, and CVS’s pharmacy care to the region.

The new CVS Pharmacy, located at the Lewiston Center, is now open and ready to serve customers.

“Having CVS move into the Lewiston Center is another big step forward for us. Each time we add a new tenant, another piece of the puzzle comes together in the comeback of the Lewiston Center. CVS brings not just a trusted pharmacy, but also energy and foot traffic that helps all of our retailers,” said Billy Jeffrey Scharnhorst, manager of Lewiston Center.

Customers who previously filled prescriptions at Rite Aid will see their records automatically transferred to CVS.  The Lewiston CVS is open seven days a week.
