MOSCOW, ID – The Moscow Police Department has completed its investigation into last month’s altercation on old Greek Row that left a man with serious head injuries.
The family of 26 year old Austen Dawson of Moscow reported on social media that he was severely beaten while trying to make a DoorDash delivery. Dawson was in a medically induced coma in stable condition at the hospital in Lewiston. The family reported on social media late last week that he had come out of the coma.
Moscow Police say the altercation was between two adult males. Chief Anthony Dahlinger reports that his investigators identified everyone involved in the altercation and interviewed about a dozen people. When officers arrived on scene at the University of Idaho they found one adult male with significant injuries.
The Moscow PD’s investigation has now been sent to the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office for review of potential charges.
