LEWISTON, ID — Lewis-Clark State College will host the Idaho State Board of Education this week for its October meeting, set to take place Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 15–16, at the Williams Conference Center.
The board will meet from 1:30 to 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by an executive session from 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday and a regular session from 9 to 11 a.m. The sessions will be streamed live on LC State’s YouTube channel, and the full agenda is available on the State Board of Education’s website.
LC State President Cynthia Pemberton will present the college’s annual report on Wednesday afternoon. Her remarks will address presidential priorities, enrollment trends, and several institutional updates, including the college’s 60-year legacy in healthcare education, its leadership in prison education programs, and the ongoing proposal to change its name to Lewis-Clark State University.
Official fall enrollment numbers are also expected to begin releasing on Wednesday, according to the college’s communications office.
The meeting marks an opportunity for LC State to showcase its academic progress and institutional goals directly to state education leaders.
