CORVALLIS, OR – The sophomore duo of Teagan Scott and Ella Stosich both put up career numbers to earn Cascade Conference McDonald’s Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, on Monday. Scott was voted the CCC Setter of the Week and Stosich earned Defender of the Week honors.

ELLA STOSICH – VOLLEYBALL DEFENDER OF THE WEEK

Stosich anchored the LC State back row to help the No. 14 Warriors to two wins over the weekend. The libero collected a career-high 28 digs in four sets against Oregon Tech and added 13 in three sets in a sweep of (RV) Southern Oregon for 5.86 per set. She totaled seven assists and three service aces over the weekend.

This is the first weekly honor of Stosich’s career.

TEAGAN SCOTT –VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK

Scott dished out an impressive 11.14 assists per set over the weekend to help LC State defeat OIT and SOU. The sophomore tied her career high with 47 assists in four sets against Oregon Tech and added 31 in three sets against Southern Oregon. She tallied eight kills, including six against OIT, collected 13 digs and put up seven blocks.

This is the third weekly honor for Scott this season.
