BOISE, ID – Early voting is now underway across much of Idaho for the upcoming November 4, 2025, local elections, the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office announced Monday. Counties may offer early voting through October 31, depending on local schedules.
Voters can check whether early voting is available in their area by visiting VoteIdaho.gov/election-information or by contacting their local elections office.
“Early voting is now underway in many Idaho counties ahead of the November 4 local elections,” said Secretary of State Phil McGrane. “Whether you vote early, absentee, or on Election Day, I encourage every eligible Idahoan to participate. Local elections play a critical role in shaping our communities.”
Registered voters may cast their ballots at any early voting location within their county. Those who have not yet registered can do so and vote on the same day by bringing a valid photo ID and proof of residence—an Idaho driver’s license generally fulfills both requirements.
Residents are encouraged to review their sample ballot at VoteIdaho.gov before heading to the polls. Not all Idahoans will have items to vote on this November, as local taxing district elections vary by area and may not align with neighboring precincts.
Early voting information, registration links, and additional election resources are available online at VoteIdaho.gov.
