CLARKSTON, WA – Supporters of the “No Kings” movement are holding a rally in Clarkston on Saturday, October 18, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the intersection of 5th Street and Bridge Street. The event is part of a series of regional protests planned for the same day, including demonstrations in Pullman and Moscow.
A previous “No Kings” protest was held on June 14, 2025, and is being promoted as a peaceful gathering against perceived authoritarianism. Organizers describe the movement as a grassroots effort aimed at uniting Americans to oppose what they view as abuse of power.
In Pullman, a protest is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cougar Plaza, and in Moscow, the demonstration will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ghormley Park.
The Clarkston protest is sponsored by Asotin County Democrats and Nez Perce County Democrats.
