LAPWAI, ID — Dr. Hailey LaFrance Wilson, a family physician with Nimiipuu Health, has been awarded the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), according to the Nimiipuu Health Facebook page.

The honorary designation recognizes physicians who have demonstrated dedication to family medicine through education, service, research, and teaching. Dr. Wilson received the honor during a convocation ceremony on October 8 in Anaheim, California, as part of the AAFP’s annual meeting.

The AAFP, which represents more than 128,000 family physicians nationwide, established the fellowship program in 1971 to acknowledge ongoing professional achievement and commitment to community health.
