LC State Hosting Prescription Drug Take-Back Day October 22

LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College will host a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Wednesday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library parking lot near the intersection of 7th Avenue and 5th Street in Lewiston.

The event is free and open to the public, offering a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications. Accepted items include prescription and over-the-counter drugs, pet medications, vitamins, and supplements. Syringes, needles, liquids, and inhalers will not be accepted, and no refunds for medications will be provided.

The event is sponsored by LC State’s Student Counseling Center, the Health & Wellness Committee, and the Lewiston Police Department, with assistance from LC State nursing students. For more information, contact the LC State Student Counseling Center at 208-792-2211 or email counseling@lcsc.edu.
