KANSAS CITY, MO – The women of LC State Cross Country moved up one spot to No. 22 in the NAIA in the latest national rankings released on Thursday. The Warriors saw strong performances last weekend at the LC State Invitational as they gear up for the final meets of the regular season.

She was the second NAIA runner to cross the line and was 20 seconds faster than her time at the same meet least season. Senior Camille Ussher ran a personal best time as well to mark her progression throughout the season, along with fellow senior Grace Tiegs who maintains a steady presence in the team’s top five.
Freshman Kailee Lerew stepped up for the Warrior women and placed in LC State’s top three for the first time in her career. Along with Eva Lundgren and Nuala Rollins, the three freshmen have improved immensely since the start of the season to consistently finish in the Warriors’ top five.
Around the Cascade Conference, College of Idaho fell one spot to No. 9 and Eastern Oregon fell two spots to No. 18. Southern Oregon is now No. 23 just behind LC State. Oregon Tech is receiving votes.
