LEWISTON, ID — The Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office has announced several key election deadlines for the upcoming November 4, 2025 Consolidated Election.
Voter Pre-Registration Deadline
Friday, October 24, is the final day for voters to pre-register before Election Day. The Auditor Recorder’s Office, located at 1230 Main Street in Lewiston, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.
Voters who have changed their name or address since the last election must re-register. Those unable to register before the October 24 deadline may do so at their polling place on Election Day. Absentee Ballot Applications Close October 24
October 24 is also the deadline for the county clerk to receive applications for mail-out absentee ballots for the November election. Applications must be received by 5 p.m.
Voters who are unable to visit the polls on Election Day may vote early at the Auditor Recorder’s Office through Friday, October 31, at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, Lewiston. More information is available by calling (208) 799-3020.
Mail-Ballot Precinct Information
Ballots for voters in Rimrock-23 and Highland-30 Mail-Ballot Precincts were mailed on October 10, 2025, as part of the consolidated election process. Eligible voters in these precincts who have not received their ballots are encouraged to contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately at (208) 799-3023.
Completed ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 4. Voters who need to register or re-register due to a name or address change may do so at the courthouse that day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
