LEWISTON, ID – Lewiston City Attorney Jennifer Tengono has received the Daniel J. Curtin, Jr. Young Public Lawyer Award from the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA), honoring her excellence in public service and municipal law.
The annual award recognizes attorneys admitted to the bar for less than 10 years who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and commitment to serving their communities. It commemorates Daniel J. Curtin, Jr., a respected leader in local government law.
“Jennifer is deeply engaged with the public and practices collaborative governance every day,” said Mayor Johnson. “She provides legal guidance, ensures city operations remain compliant, and upholds the highest professional standards. We’re fortunate to have her leading our legal efforts.”
IMLA is a nonprofit organization connecting and supporting local government attorneys across the U.S. and Canada through professional development and advocacy.
