SPOKANE VALLEY, WA — Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two runaway teens last seen late Saturday evening in Spokane, and are asking for the public’s help to ensure their safety.
Family members reported 13-year-old Makiyah H. Burland and 14-year-old Londyn M. Broussard missing on October 26 after the girls reportedly boarded an STA bus in Greenacres and traveled to the downtown Spokane Transit Authority bus plaza without permission. Deputies say the bus plaza is the last confirmed location for the teens, though they could have transferred to another bus or left the area by other means.
Officials are particularly concerned due to the teens’ young ages, cold and wet weather conditions, and prior medical concerns involving one of the girls.
Makiyah Burland is described as a White female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds, with black hair featuring blue and purple bangs. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack.
Londyn Broussard is described as a White female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and 110 pounds, with dark brown or black hair. She was last seen in blue jeans, a brown or gray sweatshirt layered over a blue undershirt, and slip-on shoes or sandals. Deputies note she has piercings in both ears and her nose.
Anyone who has seen the teens or has information about their whereabouts is urged to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 and reference case number 2025-10153500.
