ROSALIA, WA – The Port of Whitman County has allocated roughly 4,000 dollars to the Town of Rosalia to help pay for upgrades to the community’s RV park.
The RV park closed in the spring of last year. The town is working to reopen the site after staff completes upgrades to the park. The project calls for new water lines and frost free water hydrants. The total cost of the work is estimated at 7,500 dollars.
The Port of Whitman County has signed an Economic Development and Tourism Agreement with the Town of Rosalia to help pay for the work. Port officials believe reopening the Rosalia RV park will encourage tourism for that community.
