LEWISTON, ID – October is packed with Halloween-themed events across the Lewis-Clark Valley and neighboring communities. From fall festivals and pumpkin patches to trunk-or-treats, haunted happenings, and costume contests, there are activities for all ages throughout the month.

LEWISTON
L-C Valley Pumpkin Patch
Date: Daily, October 5–31, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: 2200 8th Ave., Lewiston, ID
Details: Hosted by L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity, this pumpkin patch features over 4,000 pumpkins, gourds, games, and photo opportunities for families. Proceeds benefit affordable housing projects in Nez Perce and Asotin counties.
Witches Can Float
Date: Sundays in October, starting October 5, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Swallows Nest Park, Lewiston, ID
Details: A festive river float event for witches, warlocks, and friends! Bring any non-motorized floatation device (kayak, raft, paddleboard, tube, even a rubber duckie) and paddle from Swallows Nest to the confluence by the Blue Bridge. Life vests and whistles required. Fun and recreational—costumes encouraged!
Royal Spooktacular

Location: Royal Plaza Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia, 2870 Juniper Dr, Lewiston, ID
Details: Royal Plaza hosts its 2nd Annual Royal Spooktacular, a free community celebration featuring trick-or-treating, a spooky walk-through, and a magical theme park setting. Families are invited to enjoy a festive evening with residents and staff in a safe, fun environment.
Halloween Bash

Location: Lindsay Creek Vineyards, 3107 Powers Ave, Lewiston, ID
Details: Lindsay Creek Vineyards hosts a festive evening of Halloween fun for all ages. Highlights include trunk-or-treating, local vendors, a pet costume contest, and live music. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and bring family, friends, and pets for a night of spooky fun. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
Trunk-or-Treat at Trinity Lutheran Church

Details: Family trunk-or-treat with decorated cars, candy, and safe trick-or-treating.
Zombie Prom 2025

Details: A 21+ dance party with DJ, drinks, photo ops, and a costume contest. Categories include Best Zombie, Best Couple/Group, and Prom King & Queen of the Undead.
CLARKSTON
Rustebakke Trunk or Treat
Date: Thursday, October 30, 2025

Location: Rustebakke Veterinary Service, 705 15th Street, Clarkston, WA
Details: Trunk or Treat at Rustebakke Veterinary Service! Bring the whole family; pets included (on leashes, please!) for an evening of fun, candy, and community. We’ll have a costume contest for pets and people, festive photo booth to capture the memories, and friendly petting zoo for the kiddos
Trick or Treat Bash

Location: Evergreen Estates, 1215 Evergreen Ct, Clarkston, WA
Details: Evergreen Estates and TriState Health team up for a Trick or Treat Bash featuring candy, hot dogs, chips, and drinks for kids in costume. Each child receives approximately a half-pound of candy. Afterward, TriState Health’s Employee Engagement Committee (SPARC) will host a second trunk-or-treat event next door. Supplies are limited, and doors will not open early.
Treats On Us – Clarkston

Location: Celebration Church Parking Lot, 1355 Elm St, Clarkston, WA
Details: Celebration Church welcomes families to its 2nd Annual Treats On Us event. Cars and trucks will be decorated and handing out candy in a safe, community–focused environment. Free food will also be available, including hot dogs, chips, and water. Everyone is invited to join in the fun.
American Legion Post 246 Halloween Trunk-or-Treat

Details: The American Legion Post 246 invites families to a Halloween Trunk or Treat event at the Clarkston Veteran Outreach Center. Come in costume and enjoy an evening of candy, fun, and community spirit.
LAPWAI
Pi-Nee-Waus Annual Halloween Party
Date: Friday, October 31, 2025
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Pi-Nee-Waus Community Center, Lapwai, ID
Details: The annual community Halloween celebration returns with a festive night of contests and prizes. A cake decorating contest begins at 6:00 PM, followed by costume contests at 7:00 PM featuring divisions from infants to elders. A game booth contest will award prizes for 1st–3rd place. Cakes donated for the contest will be used for the cake walk. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
MOSCOW
The Nightmare on 3rd Street
Date: Thursday and Friday, October 30–31, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: The Old Garden Center on 3rd Street, Moscow, ID
Details: Step into the horror of The Nightmare on 3rd Street. Created by the teams behind The Haunted Island and The Haunted Rodeo Grounds, this haunted attraction features chilling visuals and immersive scares. Costumes are encouraged. Admission is $5 on first entry, $3 for re-entry. All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels.
Moscow Downtown Trick-or-Treat
Date: Friday, October 31, 2025
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (setup at 2:30 PM; takedown at 5:30 PM)
Location: Downtown Moscow, Main Street (closed from Zion’s Bank to 6th Street)
Details: Businesses and community groups hand out candy in a safe, closed-street environment. Open to all families—costumes encouraged. Chamber members not located downtown can participate by setting up tables or tents. Registration closes October 23. More info: Moscow Chamber registration link
Halloween Costume Party

Pullman Parks & Recreation Halloween Carnival – Pullman

Decorations will go up throughout October, making this a highlight of the season.
