KANSAS CITY, MO – LC State Women’s Cross Country held its spot at No. 22 in the final NAIA Top 25 of the regular season. The Warriors open postseason action on Nov. 7 at the 2025 Cascade Conference Cross Country Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, in Salem, Ore.
The Warrior women had a strong showing at the competitive NAIA Great Lakes Challenge with a ninth-place team finish. LC State finished ahead of then-No. 12 Aquinas (Mich.) led by Damaris Kibiwot’s 11th-place finish individually.
Seniors Grace Tiegs and Camille Ussher both finished in the top 60 to help propel LC State to its strong finish, while freshmen Kailee Lerew and Eva Lundgren finished in the top 125 to round out the Warriors’ top 10.
Around the Cascade Conference, College of Idaho moved up four spots to No. 5 and Eastern Oregon climbed two spots to No. 16. Southern Oregon jumped five spots to No. 18 in the NAIA with LC State as the fourth ranked team in the CCC at No. 22. Oregon Tech and Corban (Ore.) are also receiving votes.
