SWAN VALLEY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on US26 in southern Idaho.
According to information released by police on Sunday, a 69-year-old male from Idaho Falls was traveling westbound on the highway, near milepost 372, at around 5:00 p.m. on October 9, 2025, on a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road.
The man sustained critical injuries and was life-flighted to a local hospital. A 68-year-old female passenger, also from Idaho Falls, was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Police said neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a helmet.
The male driver reportedly died from his injuries on Saturday, October 29.
