Palouse Habitat for Humanity Receives $15,000 US Bank Foundation Grant

MOSCOW, ID – The US Bank Foundation has awarded a $15,000 Community Possible grant to Palouse Habitat for Humanity to support operational costs as the organization completes three homes in Palouse, Moscow, and Pullman, and begins the 2026 homes in Uniontown.

“Safe and stable housing helps children, families and communities thrive,” said Pam Maxwell, community affairs manager at US Bank. “Working with Palouse Habitat for Humanity to create access to affordable housing is an investment that will benefit generations to come.”

Executive Director Jennifer Wallace noted that median income earners in Latah and Whitman counties can no longer afford the median home price, forcing many residents to spend over a third of their income on housing.

This leaves families struggling to cover food, health care, transportation, childcare, and other basic needs.
