LEWISTON, ID – LC State Women’s Golf added to its 2026-27 roster with international talent Paola Sakota. She will join the Warriors in the fall.
“We are excited to announce that Paola is joining our women’s program,” head coach Zach Andreson said. “She is the first to join what we expect to be a strong 2026 recruiting class for our women’s program. She brings in some high caliber tournament experience. Her results in these events will give her the opportunity to become an immediate impact player for us when she joins in the fall of 2026. Her personality and passion for the game should allow her to fit right into the culture that we have built on this team over the past few years.”
Sakota, who currently lives in Johannesburg, South Africa, attends International Schooling and competes across South Africa. She won the South Africa Amateur Flight Division Match Play, placed in the top 10 at the South African Girls Junior International tournament was in the top 25 at the South African Under-18 Girls National Championship.
“I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter as a Warrior,” Sakota said. “It is an honor to join a program with such potential and passion, and I can’t wait to grow alongside my teammates and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming year.”
