LEWISTON, ID – Coach Zach Anderson and LC State Women’s Golf continued to add to its 2026-27 roster with Sweden’s Alice Mattsson. She joins Paola Sakota in the group that will join the Warriors in the fall.

“It is exciting to add Alice as our second signee of the women’s 2026 recruiting class,” Anderson said. “By adding another Swede, we continue the deep recruiting line to Scandinavia. Alice comes from a well-known golf club that has played at a high level for many years. This experience and teaching she has received speaks to her coachability. She is committed to development which I have seen since our first contact.”

Mattsson earned multiple top five finishes this year including a win at the Slaget om Skåne – Future with rounds of 75-73. She placed fourth at the 2025 JMI Gräppås PING Junior Open (76-76) and at a Swedish Junior Tour event (74-70).

“I’m excited to join a college team, as this will be a new experience for me,” Mattsson said. “I look forward to working with talented teammates, competing at a higher level, and growing both as an athlete and as a person.”
