BONNERS FERRY, ID – The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a Coeur d’Alene realtor on charges connected to alleged lewd and lascivious conduct involving a minor.

According to the agency, Scott Smith was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force. The arrest followed a Boundary County warrant obtained during an ongoing investigation into reports of inappropriate conduct.

Detectives Brandon Blackmore and Nick Delavan, who serve on the task force, were present for the arrest along with other federal officers. Smith was booked into the Kootenai County Jail and is expected to be transferred to Boundary County.
