LEWISTON, ID – With the end of the 2025 season in site, LC State Women’s Cross Country has begun to prepare for 2026 with the signing of Green River College transfer Hannah Berdan. She will join the Warriors next fall.

Berdan ran two seasons at Green River College. She ran a personal best time of 24:45.5 this season at the Linfield Geroge Oja Invitational and helped the team place fourth at the NWAC meet last season. Berdan was an All-American in 2024 and regional champion in 2024. She prepped at Owyhee High School in Meridian.

“We are looking forward to having Hannah in our family this next year,” coach Mike Collins said. “Would have loved to have had her here right out of high school, but better late than never. She will come in with some experience and maturity from the junior college ranks, and with a team with a good number of sophomores coming up and what we expect to see in a good number of freshmen, we will need some of that experience to help us balance out the team. She is a super young lady that excels in the classroom and is a great teammate. Will be a great Warrior for LC State.”
