KANSAS CITY, MO – The last time LC State Volleyball qualified for the national tournament was 2011 which marked the program’s fifth straight appearance in the field. Katie (Hinrichs) Palmer helped the Warriors to the first four in that span and will now lead her alma mater back to the national stage for the first time in 14 years. LC State Volleyball is headed to Upland, Ind., to take on the Taylor Trojans in the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship Opening Round.
The Warriors are making their 13th strip to the national tournament and will face Taylor (Ind.) for the third time in postseason play. The Trojans defeated LC State in five sets in 1997 and the Warriors earned a four-set win in 1999.
The winner of the match will advance to Sioux City, Iowa for pool play at the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship. Play in Iowa will run Dec. 3-9.
