SR26 West Of Washtucna Closed Due To Serious Injury Crash Involving Semi And Car

UPDATE: The Washington State Patrol now confirms the crash on State Route 26 west of Washtucna is a fatality. The highway remains fully closed from SR 395 to SR 261 with no detour available. Troopers report there is still no estimated time for reopening.

WASHTUCNA, WA – State Route 26 West of Washtucna is closed due to a serious injury crash involving a semi and a car.

The Washington State Patrol reports that the crash occurred around 11:00 this morning about six miles from Washtucna. There is no detour in place and troopers don’t know how long the highway will be closed.SR 26 Westbound Description: Collision blocking SR 26 in both directions at milepost 77 beginning at 11:12 am on November 20, 2025 until further notice.
