CLARKSTON, WA — TriState Health has been recognized with a 2025 Performance Leadership Award from The Chartis Center for Rural Health, honoring the hospital’s strong performance in Quality, Outcomes, and Patient Perspective.
The announcement was made November 20 as part of National Rural Health Day. The award places TriState Health in the top quartile of rural hospitals nationwide, according to the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a benchmarking system widely used by rural hospitals and health systems to measure operational and clinical performance.
Kym Clift, Chief Executive Officer of TriState Health, said the recognition reflects the organization’s commitment to the region it serves.
“This award is a reflection of our team’s unwavering dedication to caring for our community with excellence and compassion,” Clift said. “Every day we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, and it’s truly rewarding to see that commitment recognized at a national level.”
The Chartis Center noted that award recipients set a standard for rural facilities across the country. “The areas of quality, outcomes, and patient perspective are cornerstones of healthcare delivery across rural America,” said Michael Topchik, Executive Director of the Chartis Center for Rural Health.
TriState Health serves an eight-county region in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, and is the largest employer in Asotin County. The organization has received multiple recent honors, including “2025 Best of the Inland Northwest,” stroke care awards from the American Heart Association, and recognition for technology leadership.
