LEWISTON, ID — The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley will again offer Christmas tree pickup across Lewiston on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, with donations benefiting youth scholarships.
Volunteers will collect real Christmas trees placed on or near the curb from 9 a.m. to noon. Residents are asked to set trees out by 8 a.m. Donations given during pickup support the organization’s Youth Scholarship Fund, which helps cover memberships, activities, and club sports for children who need financial assistance.
Those in Asotin and Clarkston may drop off trees at the Clarkston Clubhouse from Jan. 6–10 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Donations should be brought inside to staff during the week. On Saturday, Jan. 10, volunteers will also be at the clubhouse from 9 to 11 a.m. to help collect trees and contributions.
The tree collection effort has been part of the community for more than 40 years. Tony Mastroberardino, director of marketing and resource development, said the annual service is a way for the Club to assist with post-holiday cleanup while supporting local youth.
Donations may be provided during pickup or drop-off, or mailed directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley.
