LEWISTON, ID – Nez Perce County Fire Department responded to a fire at the Eaton Mobile Home Court, located northeast of Lewiston, on Saturday.

Mutual aid was requested from the Lapwai Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fully involved fifth-wheel RV with flames threatening homes on either side of the trailer.

Fire crews worked to protect the neighboring homes while battling the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Nez Perce County Fire thanked Chief William Skiles and the Lapwai Fire Department for their assistance in responding to the incident.
