Lewiston Man Arrested for Alleged Lewd Conduct With Two Teenage Girls

LEWISTON, ID – A Lewiston man is facing several felony charges after two girls, both in their early teens, independently reported inappropriate conduct that investigators say occurred over multiple months in 2025.

According to affidavits filed in Nez Perce County, 36-year-old Brad L. Long was arrested December 3 following investigations by the Lewiston Police Department and the FBI.

The first report arose in September, when one of the girls participated in a forensic interview and told investigators she had been at Long’s residence. She stated Long allegedly provided her alcohol and later engaged in inappropriate contact while she was asleep. Detectives noted in the affidavit that her statements were consistent with earlier reports provided in a separate case.

This week, a second girl told authorities that she also had been allegedly sexually assaulted by Long. She told police that Long gave her alcohol and later engaged in inappropriate conduct. She also described additional concerning interactions in the months that followed.

Detectives obtained digital evidence, including Snapchat messages and voice recordings between Long and one of the girls. The affidavits say the content of the messages raised concerns and at times conflicted with statements Long later gave to officers. Investigators also noted that Long allegedly used more than one social media account to communicate with the juvenile.

A search warrant was executed at Long’s Lewiston residence on December 3. During an interview with detectives, Long allegedly acknowledged frequent communication with one of the girls and said he regretted blurred boundaries but denied any sexual contact with either minor. Investigators wrote that several of his explanations did not align with information gathered from interviews and message records.

Although the two juveniles came forward separately, detectives reported that both described similar patterns involving the alleged provision of alcohol and ongoing communication with Long. Based on statements from the minors, corroborating interviews, and electronic evidence, Long was arrested and booked into the Nez Perce County Jail.

Long has been charged with three counts of Lewd Conduct With a Child Under 16. He is expected to make his initial court appearance on Thursday afternoon.
