PULLMAN, WA – Washington State University has secured a place among the world’s top institutions for entrepreneurship research, earning a No. 19 global ranking in the 2025 Global University Entrepreneurship Research Productivity Rankings.
The list, compiled by the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, measures research output by tracking how many studies faculty publish in three leading entrepreneurship journals over a five-year period. WSU’s standing reflects work produced from 2020 through 2024.
Robert Crossler, chair of WSU’s Department of Management, Information Systems and Entrepreneurship, said the recognition underscores both the strength and consistency of the university’s faculty. He noted that WSU’s research continues to influence the broader field.
WSU has appeared in the rankings before, previously landing in the top 20 in 2019 and 2022.
