SPOKANE, WA — Innovia Foundation has opened its 2026 Community Grants Program, inviting nonprofit organizations across Eastern Washington and North Idaho to apply for funding aimed at strengthening regional stability and community connection.
The program distributes more than $1 million annually to support work in arts and culture, economic opportunity, education and youth development, health and wellbeing, and overall quality of life. This year’s funding theme, “Building Stability and Belonging,” focuses on programs that expand access to essentials—such as food, housing, healthcare, childcare, and education—while also fostering inclusive spaces and relationships that help residents feel connected.
“Innovia’s 2026 Community Grants are about meeting neighbors where they are today while investing in the connections that will sustain our region tomorrow,” CEO Shelly O’Quinn said in the announcement. She noted the Foundation aims to support efforts that both reduce hardship and strengthen community ties.
Nonprofits that submit applications by January 9, 2026 will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 general operating grant. The final deadline to apply is February 6, 2026.
