BOISE, ID — The Idaho Lottery’s 2025 $1,000,000 Raffle has officially sold out, with all 500,000 tickets purchased and the game now closed.
According to the Idaho Lottery, the final ticket was sold Thursday, Dec. 11, marking one of the fastest sellouts in the raffle’s 19-year history. It is the 18th time the popular holiday raffle has sold out overall and the 11th time it has sold out before Christmas .
This year’s raffle includes two top prizes of $1 million, along with additional prizes of $100,000 and $50,000. Idaho Lottery Director Andrew Arulanandam said players are encouraged to hold onto their tickets and check them carefully once the drawing takes place.
“We want to remind everyone this game features two, one-million-dollar top prizes,” Arulanandam said in the release. “Last year, unfortunately, one of those $1,000,000 prizes was never claimed, so please keep your tickets in a safe place and remember to check them after the drawing” .
Winning numbers will be announced at 5:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Monday, Dec. 29. Players can check tickets online, at Idaho Lottery retailers, by phone, or through the Lottery’s mobile app.
In addition to the top prizes, the raffle includes more than 21,500 other prizes ranging from $15 to $100,000. The game also featured several promotional drawings during the sales period, including daily $1,000 winners and milestone ticket prizes. The Lottery notes that some $1,000 promotional winning tickets remain unclaimed.
All prizes of $1,000 or more must be claimed at Idaho Lottery offices in Boise. Winners will have 180 days from the Dec. 29 drawing to claim their prizes.
The Idaho Lottery reported the 2025 raffle generated more than $1.7 million for its beneficiaries, which support Idaho public schools and public buildings.
