Four Warrior Volleyball Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Accolades

GREENWOOD, IN – Four LC State Volleyball players were honored by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District honorees. Juliauna Forgach Aguilar took home her third CSC award; Makenzie Stout earned her second while Teagan Scott and Ella Stosich each brought home their first.

The award recognizes student-athletes that excel both in the classroom and in the field of play. To be eligible, student-athletes must start in 66% of matches or appear in 90%, must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore in standing. A maximum of four players are selected per program for the competitive award.

“We are extremely proud of Ella, Teagan, Makenzie and Juliauna for earning CSC Academic All-District honors,” coach Katie Palmer said. “They represent the Warrior Way by achieving excellence both on the court and in the classroom. Their commitment to their academic responsibilities while competing at a high level speaks to their work ethic and discipline.”

Forgach Aguilar will graduate this winter with a degree in sport management. She has maintained a 3.93 grade point average throughout her four years on top of her standout numbers on the court. The senior outside hitter capped a stellar career in 2025 and led the Warriors in points (422.5), points per set (4.36), kills (384) and kills per set (3.96). She was second on the team with 69 blocks and recorded the 1,000th kill of her career in the second match of the season. Forgach Aguilar ranks fifth all-time in kills (1,343) and second in points (1,465). She was voted First-Team All-Cascade Conference and AVCA First-Team All-West Region.

Scott, a sophomore elementary education major, led the Cascade Conference in assists per set in 2025 (8.20) which ranks sixth in program history and led LC State with 771 total assists. She tallied 44 kills and was third on the team in digs per set (1.95). Scott put up 43 blocks and had at least 47 assists in a match four times, including a career-high 49 in a five-set match against College of Idaho. She maintains a 3.76 GPA and was voted All-CCC Honorable Mention.

Stosich is a kinesiology major with a 3.71 grade point average. The sophomore libero was the only Warrior to appear in all 98 sets this season and led the CCC in digs per set (4.51). Stosich led LC State in total digs (442) and service aces (36). She collected at least 20 digs in seven matches, including a career-high 28 against Oregon Tech. Her digs per set mark this season ranks eighth at LC State. Stosich was named Second-Team All-Cascade Conference.

Stout earned her second CSC honor as a business administration major that maintains a 3.99 GPA. The junior defensive specialist was second on the team in service aces (31), digs (205) and digs per set (2.14). She had a career-high five service aces against Oregon Tech and collected a personal-best 19 digs against Bushnell (Ore.). Stout was named the team’s NAIA Champion of Character.
