Moscow Medical to Join Gritman Clinic System

MOSCOW, ID — Moscow Medical, the community’s longest-serving primary care practice, is joining the Gritman Clinic System, expanding access to primary care services in the region.

Gritman Medical Center announced Tuesday that the Moscow Medical clinic, located at 212 N. Main St., is in the process of integrating into the Gritman system. The partnership brings the clinic under the umbrella of Latah County’s first hospital, which officials say will strengthen care access on the Palouse.

Gritman President and CEO Kara Besst said the integration is expected to support growth and improve access to primary care services.

“We are confident that this integration will allow Moscow Medical to increase access to primary care on the Palouse and we look forward to growing this clinic and partnership,” Besst said in a statement.

Moscow Medical has served the community since the 1940s and has been led over the years by multiple providers, including Dr. John and Donna Grauke and, more recently, Dr. Ray and Tracy Paz. Dr. Ray Paz said the partnership will benefit patients by connecting the clinic to a broader regional health network.

“For over 70 years, Moscow Medical has been a cornerstone of care in our community,” Paz said. “Partnering with Gritman Medical Center means patients will benefit from broader services and the strength of a regional health network dedicated to excellence”.

According to the release, the Paz family sought the partnership after Dr. Paz accepted another position in the community, allowing the clinic to continue providing care without interruption. Tracy Paz will remain in her role as practice administrator.

Patients of the Moscow Medical clinic will continue to be able to see longtime providers Family Nurse Practitioner Sara Presol and Physician Assistant Jessica Cruz. A third provider, Family Nurse Practitioner Jordan Harlow, recently joined the clinic in October.
