SPOKANE, WA – Fifteen wanted suspects were arrested during a two-day warrant operation conducted across Spokane Valley and Spokane County, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
The operation took place Dec. 10–11 and involved the Spokane Valley Investigative Unit, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force. Authorities said the effort focused on locating individuals wanted for violent felonies, felony property crimes, drug offenses and other offenses affecting public safety.
Those arrested were wanted on charges including failure to register as a sex offender, rape of a child, first-degree robbery, assault, burglary, organized retail theft, drug possession, attempting to elude law enforcement, DUI and ignition interlock violations.
Officials said four suspects also received new charges during the operation, including unlawful possession of a firearm, fugitive from justice, possession of controlled substances and violation of a protection order. Three vehicles were seized as evidence and are pending search warrants.
Among those arrested were individuals wanted on felony warrants for assault, burglary, robbery, attempting to elude law enforcement and failure to register as a sex offender. Several suspects were also wanted on out-of-state or Department of Corrections warrants. All were booked into the Spokane County Jail or transferred into custody.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges or arrests are possible.
