Authorities arrest Southern Idaho man on exploitation charges

BOISE, ID — A Canyon County man has been arrested on multiple felony charges related to child sexual exploitation, according to the Idaho Attorney General’s Office.

Investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 40-year-old Nathan Carr of Nampa on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Carr is charged with seven counts of possession of sexually exploitative material.

The arrest was made with assistance from the Nampa Police Department and the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office.

Anyone with information related to the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local law enforcement, the Idaho Attorney General’s ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
