CLARKSTON, WA – The owners of the 410 Drive-In have shared an update on the iconic business, clarifying that the drive-in is not being torn down, but is undergoing remodeling and will not be reopening as a restaurant.
In a Facebook post, the Beutler Family, who have owned the 410 since its closure six years ago, emphasized the importance of the site to the community and their own family memories. “The 410 has been part of our town since 1955 and holds a lot of memories for so many — and it does for us, too,” the post read.
The family stated that the remodel will honor and preserve the legacy of the drive-in while repurposing it in a new and “exciting way.” They asked the public for patience and respect regarding their privacy and indicated that more details will be shared in the future.
The 410 Drive-In has long been a local landmark, and while it will not reopen as a restaurant, the Beutlers hope the community will embrace the new plans when they are announced.
