KPAC Brings Twin Peaks Season One to the Big Screen This January

MOSCOW, ID –  The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre will present Season One of the groundbreaking television series Twin Peaks on the big screen for the first time, offering audiences a chance to experience the cult classic as a cinematic event. Screenings will take place every Monday in January at 7 p.m., with two episodes shown each night.

Created by David Lynch and Mark Frost, Twin Peaks follows FBI Agent Dale Cooper as he arrives in a small logging town to investigate the murder of high school student Laura Palmer. What begins as a crime drama quickly unfolds into a surreal and unsettling mystery, marked by eerie imagery, eccentric characters, and dreamlike sequences that challenge expectations of traditional television.

The screening schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, January 5 – Episodes 1–2 (2 hr 20 min), sponsored by Orchard Farm Soap

  • Monday, January 12 – Episodes 3–4 (1 hr 34 min), sponsored by Orchard Farm Soap

  • Monday, January 19 – Episodes 5–6 (1 hr 34 min)

  • Monday, January 26 – Episodes 7–8 (1 hr 32 min)

The series is rated TV-14. Tickets are $8 for adults, with film passes accepted. KPAC encourages fans of the show and newcomers alike to take part in this special January event, which brings one of television’s most influential series into a shared theatrical setting.
