Idaho County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Retires After 32 Years in Law Enforcement

GRANGEVILLE, ID — Idaho County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Tom Remington has retired after 32 years in law enforcement, marking the end of a career dedicated to public service.

According to a press release, Remington spent his career serving communities across north-central Idaho and North Idaho, with experience at the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Orofino Police Department, and the Kamiah Marshal’s Office.

Sheriff Doug Ulmer praised Remington’s dedication and years of service, stating, “As you enter retirement, never forget, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.’”
