OTHELLO, WA — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a reported sex offense investigation in southeastern Washington.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received a report on January 4, 2026, that a sex offense had occurred in the 800 block of South Steele Road in Othello.
Investigators say they established probable cause to arrest Ismael Milan-Basurto, 20, on multiple felony charges, including second-degree rape, first-degree incest, second-degree rape of a child, and second-degree child molestation.
Authorities report that Milan-Basurto fled the area before deputies were able to make contact with him. The investigation remains ongoing, and law enforcement is actively attempting to locate him.
