LC Valley Chamber announces 2026 Ag Banquet honoring regional farmers

LEWISTON, ID — The Lewis‑Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for its 2026 agriculture banquet, an annual event recognizing the role farming plays in the Lewis-Clark Valley economy.

The banquet, themed “So, God Made a Farmer,” is scheduled for Feb. 17 and will focus on honoring agricultural producers from across the region. Agriculture remains the largest economic driver in both Washington and Idaho portions of the LC Valley, according to the chamber.

Chamber CEO and President Mark Losh said the event reflects both the economic and cultural importance of farming in the area. Losh, who grew up on a small farm near Deer Park, Washington, said his background gives him a personal understanding of the work and commitment required in agriculture.

In addition to the banquet, the chamber will award three agriculture scholarships to local students involved in 4-H or FFA programs. A live auction will also be held during the event to raise funds for the chamber’s 2027 agriculture scholarships, with a fundraising goal of $5,000.

The event will also include an agriculture business expo prior to dinner, allowing sponsors to connect with producers attending the banquet.

More information about sponsorship opportunities and event details is available through the Lewis-Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce.
