PULLMAN, WA — Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories has promoted Frank Heleniak to vice president of Sales and Customer Service, the company announced Monday.

Heleniak will oversee sales and customer service strategy for SEL operations across the United States and Canada. He most recently served as director of Sales and Customer Service for the company’s northeast region.

Heleniak joined SEL in 2014 as an application engineering intern and advanced through several roles, including application engineer, team lead, regional technical manager, and regional director. He holds bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Widener University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University.

He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania. Heleniak has also served as a volunteer firefighter since 2005 and is currently deputy fire chief with the Plymouth Fire Company in Pennsylvania.

Heleniak will continue to be based out of SEL’s King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, office.
