CLARKSTON, WA — Drivers using the crossing at Lower Granite Lock and Dam should expect periodic delays beginning this week.
According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Lower Granite Dam crossing will experience daily delays of up to two hours in both directions from January 6 through February 15, 2026. The delays are due to construction crane activity tied to a turn-pool repair project.
During the work, the south roadway nearest the primary dewatering structure and fish ladder will be closed at times. Motorists are advised to plan for additional travel time and watch for flaggers and posted signage while the project is underway.
